  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the shortening, sugar, and eggs until smooth and well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, M-K Cream of Tartar, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture into the creamed mixture. Mix well.
  5. Stir in the M-K Pure Vanilla Extract until combined.
  6. In a separate small bowl, combine the 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of M-K Ground Cinnamon. This will be your cinnamon sugar coating.
  7. Roll the cookie dough into small walnut-sized balls.
  8. Roll each ball in the cinnamon sugar mixture until it’s fully coated.
  9. Place the coated balls on an ungreased cookie sheet, ensuring that they’re spaced about 2 inches apart.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden brown. The cookies should still be soft in the middle.
  11. Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
