  1. Preheat the oven to 350°.
  2. Cook the macaroni as per the package instructions.
  3. In a separate pan, brown the ground beef along with the chopped onion until the beef is fully cooked and the onions are translucent.
  4. In a large baking dish, combine the cooked macaroni, browned beef and onion mixture, tomato paste, tomato sauce, M-K Ground Oregano, M-K Chili Powder, sugar, M-K Granulated Garlic, M-K Ground Thyme, salt, and mushrooms (if using).
  5. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are combined evenly.
  6. Evenly spread the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the mixture.
  7. Cover the baking dish and place it in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  8. After 30 minutes, remove the cover and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
